Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Electronics Lab Technician to join their team in the Cambridge area. Become part of a team providing specialized Full Turn Around Solutions for the electronic circuit board industry utilizing Through Hole Technology and SMT Technology with full assembly, testing, potting, final assembly, prototype construction, circuit board design and lay out capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: ? Testing, troubleshooting and repairing PCBs manufactured for the automotive industry ? Diagnose the defective PCBs and identify root cause of the problem ? Offer technical solutions to assist the development of new processes ? Assist with maintenance of lab and lab equipment ? Perform inspections of parts under microscope ? Enter test data on a computer ? Follow written and verbal instructions; Clearly communicate results and issues ? Maintain organization in the lab Your job requires: ? 1 or more years in an electrical processing environment ? Post secondary degree or diploma in electronics or a related field ? Experience with micro soldering an asset ? Must have experience reading blue prints and circuit board diagrams ?
