Our client, an industry leader and one of the top companies to work for in the Waterloo Region, is seeking to add an HRIS Project Coordinator to their team, in Kitchener, ON. Reporting to the Assistant HR Manager and working closely with the Project Sponsor, the HRIS Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the full cycle project of implementing a new HRIS system. The chosen candidate will have a proven history of seamlessly implementing a new system without loss of time to the office team. This is a 4-6 month contract position, with the potential for an extension to 1 year. You will be an open, collaborative, innovative, and team oriented individual, with the ability to solve problems on the fly. This is a great opportunity to join a top employer in the KW region for an exciting project. 

The HRIS Project Coordinator job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Converting the current HRIS to ADP
  • Completing a detailed project schedule, highlighting the sequence of activities and milestones
  • Collaborating with project team members and managers to ensure all work is being completed on schedule 
  • Reviewing, updating, and monitoring the project schedule to insure a seamless transition
  • Ensuring all project team members have the necessary information for communications and discussions with external stakeholders
  • Identifying any risks that may arise and conducting the appropriate level of analysis to prevent the risks
  • Coordinating project meetings, minute taking and the overall management of meeting materials

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in an HRIS role
  • 2+ years experience in an HR project coordination role, specifically in coordinating HRIS implementation projects
  • Human Resources Management degree/diploma or similar educational background, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with ADP is required
